The Department of Education just released the grades for each Florida school and Bellalago Charter school received an "A".

That is such fantastic news. We recently moved here and have heard so many mixed emotions about the school. I'm thrilled to hear it jumped to an A. Thank you for sharing!

What lane expansions are they taking about? Any web links to this project to see this better?

    Sincerely,

You must be talking about the expansion to Pleasant Hill Rd. It was to start in Fall of 2009, two more lanes one on each side. Or Poinciana Blvd was to be completed in 2009, two lanes all the way from Pleasant Hill rd to Rt.192. Hoagland is to be expanded two lanes from JYP to Rt.192. Marigold is to be expanded to Rt4. Southport is to meet the Turnpike by 2010. There are a few more but these effect us in Bellalago.

Well, it's about time for some road updating. Nothing like being a "one horse town". Perhaps I should plan on staying in town at least until 2010 to see all the changes. It's very exciting!

I overheard from some neighbors that avatar is building some smaller homes in the isles area of bellalago. no tile roof but cheaper. we think this is wrong for our lovely community. they are allowing this community to be like every other community around. it will allow anyone to buy and live in the community. when we bought here we felt we bought in a upscale resort community. now it looks like they want it to be like any other low rent district. when we spoke to paul about he thinks it a good thing but he is only one. does anyone know if we can stop them from ruining our community before it is too late?

I just wanted to say that I do think it's good for those of us that live in bellalago. Because we will have a larger home with tiled roof that can not be bought. Should make our homes more desirable and worth more. I understand your point that now we wont have such an elite neighborhood but the builder holds all the power until the community is turned over to the homeowners, and that is a long time off.
